Bobby Baun Signing Event — August 2013
August 21, 2013 – Steve Fournier
About Bobby Baun
Bobby Baun is one of the most legendary figures in Toronto Maple Leafs history, best remembered for one of the most heroic moments in Stanley Cup playoff lore. In Game 6 of the 1964 Stanley Cup Finals, Baun scored the overtime winner on a broken leg — refusing to leave the ice until the game was over. The Leafs went on to win Game 7 and the Cup, with Baun playing through the pain the entire time. A three-time Stanley Cup champion (1962, 1963, 1964), Baun was a rugged, physical defenceman who embodied the toughness of the Leafs dynasty era. His signature is a cherished piece for any serious Toronto Maple Leafs memorabilia collector.
