Mail Order & Send-In Autograph Program

SportAuthentix has hosted autograph signings with athletes from the NHL and other professional leagues, serving collectors across North America.

Important: Items should only be sent once a signing has been announced for the athlete.

How the Mail-In Process Works

Step 1

Choose an Upcoming Signing

Review our upcoming autograph signings and determine which athlete you would like your item signed by.

Step 2

Complete the Mail Order Form

Download and complete the SportAuthentix Mail Order Form, then include the completed form with your shipment.

Ship Your Item

Carefully package your item and ship it to:

Step 4

Item Intake & Notification

Once your item arrives, it is logged into our system and securely stored until the scheduled signing.

Customers are typically notified within 48 hours of arrival confirming that their item has been received and processed.

Step 5

Invoicing & Payment

After your item has been received and logged, a SportAuthentix invoice will be issued prior to the signing.

Invoices typically include:

  • Autograph fee
  • Inscription fees (if requested)
  • Return shipping costs

Payment must be completed before the scheduled signing date in order for the item to be included in the autograph signing.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit Card
  • PayPal
  • E-Transfer (Canada)

Items with unpaid invoices may not be included in the scheduled signing.

Step 6

Autograph Signing

Your item will be signed during the scheduled autograph signing event.

Any requested ink color or inscription will be followed as indicated on your mail order form whenever possible.

Step 7

Authentication & Return Shipping

All items signed through SportAuthentix receive official authentication. Each item includes:

  • SportAuthentix hologram
  • Certificate of Authenticity (COA)

Tracking information will be provided when your item ships.


Packaging & Signing Instructions

Proper packaging helps ensure your item arrives safely and is signed according to your request.

Packaging Guidelines

  • Hockey Cards / Photographs – place in a sleeve or toploader and sandwich between cardboard
  • Jerseys – fold carefully and place inside a protective plastic bag
  • Pucks – use a puck cube or wrap with bubble wrap

Always ship items in a sturdy box and use a service that includes tracking so your package can be monitored during transit.

Signing Instructions

Attach a Post-it note or removable tag directly to the item indicating:

  • Preferred ink color
  • Any inscription requests
  • Special signing instructions

Please include your name on the back of the item so we can easily match it with your mail order form during the signing.

Avoid placing tape directly on photographs or memorabilia surfaces that could cause damage.


Mail-In Submission Deadlines

Each autograph signing has a mail-in submission deadline to ensure all items are received and processed before the event.

Collectors should ensure their items arrive well before the listed deadline for each signing.

Submission deadlines may vary depending on:

  • The athlete signing
  • The event location
  • Processing time required

We strongly recommend sending items as early as possible to avoid delays or missed signings.

If your item arrives after the deadline, it may be held for a future signing or returned to the sender. Customers will be contacted if their submission arrives after the deadline.
